Central Wire produces wire in several different product lines and
is used in both formed and finished components throughout the appliance
industry. Whether it is a bright, spring temper wire whip used with
food mixers, a bright drawn- heavy wire form used to push ice from
an ice maker, or one of a wide array of stainless steel fasteners used
in appliance assembly, our wire serves to fill nearly every need for
clean and bright food grade stainless steel. We also provide a line
of wires used to produce fasteners and springs for consumer appliances.
Central Wire types 304, 316 and 430 are used primarily for appliance
applications.

Superior coatings and lubricants provide
for high productivity rates when cold formers head or bend
our wires into final shape. Many of our customers ask for a
special wire finish we supply called electro-polishing quality,
EPQ, wire. Once formed and tack welded into a rack or basket,
our wire can be polished to a high luster just by immersing
the assembly in an electrically charged tank with electrolyte.
After a short time, the part comes totally bright, clean and
ready for use.
