Cold heading quality wire and bar is used in the manufacture of cold-formed screws, bolts, nuts, rivets, stems, nails, and other complex formed parts. Central Wire produces high quality wire products that meet exacting customer specifications. These include close tolerance dimensions, degree and range of temper along with maximum ductility which all contribute to promote maximum wire formability.

A full range of metallic as well as non-metallic coatings and lubricants are available on our wire to meet the varying conditions of surface protection to heat and pressure during cold forming. Grades ranging from the softer 430L and 302HQ, 304/305, up to a more challenging A-286 and 718 may be produced in diameters from .040" up to 1.00". Central Wire can supply most grades of stainless steel and nickel alloy wire, both to commercial quality and seam free- super finish standards to meet automotive, aerospace, appliance or most any other end use application.
