Central Wire is an industry leader in fine wire, and specialty fine wire, and the largest producer of fine diameter wires. Stainless steel wire, and nickel alloy wire is often used as weaving wire, knitting wire, braiding wire, cabling wire, locking wire, tying wire, spring wire as well as in form products and resistance elements.

Weaving wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for applications such as filtration cloth, sieves, and architectural cloth.

Knitting wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for applications such as filtration, and exhaust filtration.

Braiding wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for use in hydraulic hoses.

Cabling wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for applications such as control strands, and control cables.

Locking wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for applications such as aircraft locking cable.

Tying wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for applications such as twist ties, and insulating ties.

Spring wire is produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades, with applications ranging from watch springs to fridge springs.

Form products are produced in both stainless steel and nickel alloy grades for applications such as staples and pins.

Our specialty fine wire is produced to specific specifications for customer specific requirements. A typical example of our specialty product are medical grades MP35N, 304VM, and 316LVM, widely used in the industry for applications such as catheters and dental wire.

Central Wire manufactures fine wire diameters from 0.003” to 0.032”. Tempers range from dead soft annealed to ultra spring temper. Packaging can be custom provided from as low as 1lb to 200lb tapered plastics.
