Stainless steel lashing wire is widely used throughout North American in the utility and telecommunications industries to bring and support aerial cables or a combination of cables to a supporting strand. Lashing wire alloys are also used in fabrication of pole line hardware. Central Wire lashing wire is offered in a range of alloys for the most demanding of environments. Alloys available include; 430 stainless steel, 302 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel. Central Wire has other alloys available to meet specific applications. formability at reasonable cost, and is suited for most environments. It is not
recommended for use within 25 miles (40km) of salt water. All alloys are available in standard diameters; 0.038", 0.045", 0.062", and 0.065".
