Measuring line and Slickline wire Surcharges :: Metal Markets :: Currency Exchange
Central Wire's excellence in manufacturing and testing has made our measuring lines the industry standard for quality and performance. Our measuring lines also known as Slickline and Canline, are a solid, continuous weld-free, bright finish wire used for lowering tools and instruments into oil & gas wells, that subject the materials for wirelines to corrosion attack, and varying degrees of mechanical abuse. Central Wire's Canline series of wirelines currently are offered in alloys suited for both measuring line, and electro-mechanical (EM cable) cable. All lines are weld-free, and shipped on steel reels. Custom lengths and diameters are available upon request. Canline wireline alloys are designed to withstand harsh conditions of oil &
gas wells. As an ISO 9001:2000 registered company, we have a commitment to ensure our customers receive a reliable and durable product that meets or exceeds their expectations. Central Wire's stringent quality controls ensure traceability from wire rod to finished line, through a unique product identifier. Each line is supplied with a certificate of conformance, stating physical and mechanical properties including alloy chemistry, and breaking load. Every line is verified by an independent lab to DIN 50049.3.1.B standards.
